(Purified Water) Solvent. Distilled/De-ionized water. Solvent, makes up 35-80% of volume.

CITRUS SPECIES PEEL OIL EXPRESSED

(Lemon Essential Oil) Conditioner. Conditions the skin and provides natural fragrance and preservative.

HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE GLYCERIDES

Emollient. Derived from hydrogenated plant oils (through esterification or transesterification) used in skincare and haircare. It acts as a moisturizing emollient and helps soften skin while providing texture and increasing product stability.

CETEARYL ALCOHOL

Emulsifier. Acts as a co‑emulsifier, viscosity enhancer, and gives a soft, creamy texture with conditioning effects on skin and hair. Non‑irritating and non‑sensitizing.

GLYCERIN

Humectant. Draws/Locks in moisture in the deeper underlying layers of the skin. non-toxic and anti-allergenic.

CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE

(MCT Oil) Emulsifier. Helps lock in moisture, improves texture, spreads smoothly, and stabilizes emulsions. Also serves as antioxidant and helps disperse pigments or actives

DECYL GLUCOSIDE

Surfactant. A gentle, plant-derived surfactant produced from glucose (typically corn) and decyl alcohol (from coconut or palm). It combines cleansing action with mild foaming and helps keep formulations stable. Suitable for sensitive skin and eco-conscious products.

STEARIC ACID

Emollient. Stabilizes emulsions (especially with cationics), enhances texture, and provides skin-softening properties.

CAULERPA RACEMOSA EXTRACT

(Wild Fijian Nama Sea Grape). Multiple Uses. Contracts the skin, as well as aids in absorption, inter/intracellular hydration and nutrient deliver of underlying dermal layers.

COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE

(CAPB) Emollient. A mild surfactant. coconut oil-derived fatty acid amidoalkyl betaine created in a two-step reaction of coconut fatty acids (mainly lauric acid) with dimethylaminopropylamine and then chloroacetic acid.

SODIUM LAUROAMPHOACETATE

Surfactant. Derived from coconut fatty acids, this mild, skin-friendly surfactant is ideal for sensitive skin and baby products; contributes creamy foam.

CAPRYLYL GLYCOL

Humectant. Acts primarily as a moisture-attracting humectant while also enhancing preservative systems and product shelf-life.

CAPRYLYL/CAPRYL GLUCOSIDE

Surfactant. A gentle cleanser suitable for sensitive skin and sulfate‑free formulations like face washes. Promotes creamy lather, helps blend essential oils

SODIUM CHLORIDE

(Salt) Multiple. Common salt that absorbs water and firms up textures. It can also function as a gentle abrasive in scrubs and oral care products and helps bind and control viscosity in shampoos and gels.

CETEARETH-20

Surfactant. Helps mix oil and water phases, especially in low- to medium-fat creams and cleansers.

CARBOMER

Thickener. High-molecular-weight, cross-linked acrylic acid polymers that appear as white fluffy powders. Once neutralized (commonly with sodium hydroxide or amino bases), they hydrate and swell to form clear, viscous gels.

PHENOXYETHANOL

Preservative. A glycol ether used at ≤1% to prevent bacterial, yeast, and mold growth. Heat-stable and effective across pH 3–10. Frequently replaces parabens; gentle overall, though mild irritation can occur for sensitive skin or eczema sufferers.

LACTIC ACID

pH Stabilizer. An organic acid (2‑hydroxypropanoic acid) from fermentation. It gently exfoliates by loosening corneocyte bonds, improves skin hydration, and adjusts formula pH.

SODIUM HYDROXIDE

pH Stabilizer. A strong inorganic base used to neutralize acids and regulate pH in formulations.

CITRAL

Fragrance. Naturally derived fragrance terpenes/alcohols used for aroma and occasionally antimicrobial support.
