BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII BUTTER

(Shea Butter) Emollient. Rich texture that smoothes the skin. Rich source of antioxidants, including quercetin, epicatechin gallate, gallocatechin, and epigallocatechin, as well as skin-replenishing fatty acids (stearic and linoleic)

PRUNUS AMYGDALUS DULCIS OIL

(Sweet Almond Oil) Moisturizer. Rich in fatty acids, including oleic acid and linoleic acid, which make it an excellent moisturizer for the skin. It also has vitamin E, which is an antioxidant that helps in protecting the skin from environmental stressors.

HELIANTHUS ANNUUS SEED OIL

(Sunflower Seed Oil) Moisturizer. Rich in fatty acids and vitamin E, aids in hydration.

CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE

(MCT Oil) Emulsifier. Helps lock in moisture, improves texture, spreads smoothly, and stabilizes emulsions. Also serves as antioxidant and helps disperse pigments or actives

CETEARYL ALCOHOL

Emulsifier. Acts as a co‑emulsifier, viscosity enhancer, and gives a soft, creamy texture with conditioning effects on skin and hair. Non‑irritating and non‑sensitizing.

COCOS NUCIFERA OIL

(Organic Coconut Oil) Moisturizer. Many medicinal/mouturizing properties. Very stable, contains lauric acid, improves skin texture and provides intense hydration.

CAULERPA RACEMOSA EXTRACT

(Wild Fijian Nama Sea Grape). Multiple Uses. Contracts the skin, as well as aids in absorption, inter/intracellular hydration and nutrient deliver of underlying dermal layers.

MACADAMIA TERNIFOLIA SEED OIL

(Macadamia Seed Oil) Moisturizer. Moisturizing properties with high content of monounsaturated fatty acids, specifically oleic and palmitoleic acids that are readily absorbed by the skin. Also has antioxidant properties.

LAVANDULA ANGUSTIFOLIA OIL

Multiple Uses (Lavender Oil). Soothing and calming of redness and inflammation, moisturizing properties.

OLEA EUROPAEA FRUIT OIL

(Olive Oil) Emollient. A cold-pressed oil from the fruit of Olea europaea, rich in triglycerides (oleic, linoleic acids) and antioxidants (tocopherols, phenolics). Moisturizes, softens, and delivers antioxidant benefits while enhancing overall emulsion stability.

CYMBOPOGON MARTINI OIL

(Palmarosa Oil) Conditioner. Works w/other compounds to maintain and boost overall skin condition. Masking fragrance.

Fragrance. A naturally occurring monoterpene alcohol found in various essential oils (lavender, basil, coriander). Provides a floral, citrus-menthol scent and serves as a perfume ingredient.

Humectant. Acts primarily as a moisture-attracting humectant while also enhancing preservative systems and product shelf-life.

DIMETHICONE

Emollient. A silicone polymer with varying molecular weights used to smooth skin, fill fine lines, and create a breathable protective film. It reduces TEWL (transepidermal water loss) while allowing respiration and is widely regarded as non-comedogenic and gentle.

STEARIC ACID

Emollient. Stabilizes emulsions (especially with cationics), enhances texture, and provides skin-softening properties.

CETEARETH-20

Surfactant. Helps mix oil and water phases, especially in low- to medium-fat creams and cleansers.

CARBOMER

Thickener. High-molecular-weight, cross-linked acrylic acid polymers that appear as white fluffy powders. Once neutralized (commonly with sodium hydroxide or amino bases), they hydrate and swell to form clear, viscous gels.

SODIUM HYDROXIDE

pH Stabilizer. A strong inorganic base used to neutralize acids and regulate pH in formulations.

PHENOXYETHANOL

Preservative. A glycol ether used at ≤1% to prevent bacterial, yeast, and mold growth. Heat-stable and effective across pH 3–10. Frequently replaces parabens; gentle overall, though mild irritation can occur for sensitive skin or eczema sufferers.
